New 375 & 575 Batteries for Traditional Wisper Bikes have been out of stock for much of the summer. We understand that the 575 is being discontinued. We now understand that there will be no new factory manufactured batteries till 2027
Your Wisper Traditional rack battery can be re-celled with factory made cell packs complete with new BMS (Battery Management System). All re-cells are guaranteed for 12 months. This restores the power and range of the bike.
If you order a re-celled battery from us, you pack up your battery and charger securely for transport. We expect to return it to you within 7 working days
The Process
We arrange for a courier to collect the battery from your address. Our contractor installs the new cell pack and BMS and tests your charger to ensure that everything is working. We then ask you for payment. Upon receipt the battery is returned to you by overnight courier.
The Options
All the options detailed below are availavle to you. We can fit any capacity cell pack into your battery case. So if tou have a 375 it can be re-celled as a 500Wh or 720Wh. Similarly we can downsize for you. If you elect to have a 720 cell pack you shouled ensure that you have a Wisper 3Ah charger. The 375s use a 2 Ah charger. It is important that you use the correct charger. We are at the time of writing (15/09/2026) working to purchase a 575Wh pack so we can replace your 575 with an identical pack. We will list this when it becomes available
The Price
The price for doing this is 36V X 375Wh (10.4Ah) is £325. 36V X 500Wh(14Ah) is £395. (We do not have a 575Wh pack that will fit the Wisper battery box. The 500Wh pack has approx. 12% less capacity) 36V X 720Wh (20Ah) is £550
In each case there is a £30 courier charge to cover collection and delivery back to you. If you order 2 battery re-cells at the same time, there is only 1 courier charge to cover both batteries.
