Edevon-ebikes has a special arrangement with our contractor to re-cell these batteries for an all inclusive price of £370 including courier charges within the UK
Due to marketing changes within Raleigh and another importer of e-bikes, you may find purchasing a new Stow-e-Way battery is expensive and often difficult to source. This makes re-celling your battery an economic and reliable option
The re-celling process
The contractor re-fits your battery with a new cell pack factory produced complete with a new BMS (Battery management system). Your new battery carries a full 12 month Warranty.
I have found this contractor reliable and of good quality over several years.
On placing an order. We arrange for a courier to collect your battery at a time suitable to you. We ask you to pack your battery and charger securely for transport. Make sure you use plenty of foam or bubble wrap to protect the battery. We will give you an order number to mark on the carton. We will also e-mail you the label for you to print and fix to the carton. If you cannot print the label, please let us know.
The courier will deliver direct to the contractor.
Testing your Charger
Unfortunately, due to differences in the construction of the original Stow-e-Way batteries, sometimes your original charger will not work on the new battery. In this case, you need to purchase a new charger. These are at a special low price of £49. You do not need to order this initially. We will tell you if you need a new charger
When we are ready to return the battery to you, we will ask for payment. You can either pay by Online bank transfer or by Link payment if you wish to pay by card. If you order on our cart, you can also pay by PayPal.
Delivery back to you
On receipt of payment, the contractor will send the carton to you by overnight delivery. The whole process takes about 1 week. There must be someone at the delivery address to sign for the battery. The couriers are instructed not leave a battery if there is no signature.
