Ampere is a UK based company formed in 2020 to supply e-bikes for a mass market. Ampere aims to make eco-friendly transportation accessible to everyone and to promote the benefits of e-bikes for leisure and commuting.
While others were getting themselves into a shambles after the pandemic, Ampere were getting a good foothold in the ebike market with road legal e-bikes and battery options. With their aim of being “Best in Class” Customers have been quick to recognise their quality and value.
New for 2025
- From 1st July 2025 all new Ampere Bikes will be guaranteed for 2 years. This clearly demonstrates the confidence that the company has in the improved parts and build specification
- The rear lights on the bikes will incorporate left and right indicators as well as a brake light.
- The specification of the front light is increased to 100Lux for improved visibility on those dark rides.

Ampere-electric-bikes are ideal for general daily use, recreational riding and cycling to work and have good hill climbing ability.
The Company has concentrated on attractive looking designs, good specifications – especially the motor- and price. With low overheads, Ampere have concentrated in putting good value into the bike parts and understanding that price is an important consideration to many customers.
The bikes all work on the most popular 36V electric systems and have 5 power settings. The use of rotation pedal assist sensors means that the rider can get full power out of the bikes even if the rider is not very strong.
