The Hikobike Enduro is a 48V rear Hub Drive sports electric MTB. The Enduro is an 18" frame on 27.5″ wheels. But the frame size is in effect increased about 2" by the suspension seat post.  This helps to make the rider more comfortable when travelling over rough ground.

The bike is fitted with a torque sensor pedal assist system. This means the power delivered by the motor is partly controlled by the pressure on the pedals. There is a further adjustment that the rider can make before setting out.  You are able to choose one of 3 riding modes _ Eco, Normal or Power.  Within each riding mode you can select 5 power settings. The bikes are also fitted with UK legal throttles. The bikes will travel 4mph without the pedals turning. This is a great help on hill starts. But, if you keep the throttle depressed and pedal, the throttle will deliver power up to 15mph, even when you are not pedalling hard

The 48V voltage system delivers more power resulting in improved acceleration and better general performance especially on hill climbing.  These bikes can continue on further without power fade as they are powered by a 670Wh battery.  This battery will keep you going for 50 – 80 miles.  But remember, if you keep asking the system to give maximum performance over extended time, the range will be shortened. Both bikes have a high level of specification including thumb throttles, suspension seat posts, full mudguards and integrated front and rear lights with a rear brake light.
